What?<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>I have given my life to prayer and passionate worship, but my brother, he has just taken care our our mother.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>So let me get this straight, you are forgiving <em>me<\/em> for his sake?!\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;\">In reply, God said, \u201cthat which you do for me, I don\u2019t need.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>But your mother needs what your brother does for her.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: right;\"><span style=\"font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;\">&#8211; Kharaqani, a retelling from a translation by Omid Safi.
