{"id":15394,"date":"2020-07-28T21:28:02","date_gmt":"2020-07-28T21:28:02","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/iamsignificant.ca\/?p=15394"},"modified":"2020-07-29T19:51:56","modified_gmt":"2020-07-29T19:51:56","slug":"a-deep-dream","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/iamsignificant.ca\/home\/soul-significance\/a-deep-dream\/","title":{"rendered":"A Deep Dream"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt;\">I\u2019ve spent many years learning<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt;\">how to fix life, only to discover<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt;\">at the end of the day<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt;\">that life is not broken<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt;\">There is a hidden seed of greater wholeness<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt;\">in everyone and everything.<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt;\">We serve life best<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt;\">when we water it<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt;\">and befriend it.<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt;\">When we listen before we act.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt;\">In befriending life,<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt;\">we do not make things happen<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt;\">according to our own design.<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt;\">We uncover something that is already happening<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt;\">in us and around us and<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt;\">create conditions that enable it.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt;\">Everything is moving toward its place of wholeness<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt;\">always struggling against the odds.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt;\">Everything has a deep dream of itself and its fulfillment.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;\">\u2013Rachel Naomi Remen, <em>My Grandfather\u2019s Blessings<\/em> (composed as a poem by Meg Wheatley)<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;\"><strong><span style=\"font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;\">Practice\/Experience<\/span>:<\/strong> I welcome you to sit with this poem. \u00a0Read it through a couple of times, swishing it around as you might with fine wine. Attempt to experience it not just with your mind but with your being. Be gentle with yourself. \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;\">Pay attention to the various words and phrases that seem to stir your spirit.<br \/>\nNow, holding those words and phrases &#8211; not too tight &#8211; invite the Spirit to speak to you about these.<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;\">What images, ideas come to mind?
