{"id":16177,"date":"2021-11-26T18:23:22","date_gmt":"2021-11-26T18:23:22","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/iamsignificant.ca\/?p=16177"},"modified":"2022-11-23T20:42:06","modified_gmt":"2022-11-23T20:42:06","slug":"been-there-done-that-from-a-little-further-along-the-way","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/iamsignificant.ca\/home\/sole-significance\/been-there-done-that-from-a-little-further-along-the-way\/","title":{"rendered":"\u2018Been There\u2019, \u201cDone That\u2019 from a little further along the Way"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"mp-row-fluid motopress-row mpce-dsbl-margin-left mpce-dsbl-margin-right\">\n\n<div class=\"motopress-clmn mp-span12  mpce-dsbl-margin-left mpce-dsbl-margin-right\">\n\n<p><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;\">Continuing my journey from deconstruction to reconstruction, it&#8217;s interesting to recognize how I seem to have come full circle on things like giving, leadership, structures, scriptures, and mission&#8230; But this time from a different vantage point, recognizing that the \u201cissue\u201d wasn\u2019t the issue per se, but rather the culturally-inherited and significant misunderstanding\/misapplications of Love resulting in the often tragic use of power.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;\">So while maybe it seems I have come full circle, like any adventure up a mountain, with its switchbacks, there is a gain of elevation, and with it, a new perspective on those places we have seemingly been before. And to quote T.S. Eliot, \u201c<strong>&#8230; to arrive where we started.<\/strong> <strong>And\u00a0know the place for the first time.<\/strong>\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;\">We shall not cease from exploration<\/span><br \/><span style=\"font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;\">And the end of all our exploring<\/span><br \/><span style=\"font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;\">Will be to arrive where we started<\/span><br \/><span style=\"font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;\">And know the place for the first time.<\/span><br \/><span style=\"font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;\">Through the unknown, remembered gate<\/span><br \/><span style=\"font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;\">When the last of earth left to discover<\/span><br \/><span style=\"font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;\">Is that which was the beginning;<\/span><br \/><span style=\"font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;\">At the source of the longest river<\/span><br \/><span style=\"font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;\">The voice of the hidden waterfall<\/span><br \/><span style=\"font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;\">And the children in the apple-tree<\/span><br \/><span style=\"font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;\">Not known, because not looked for<\/span><br \/><span style=\"font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;\">But heard, half-heard, in the stillness<\/span><br \/><span style=\"font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;\">Between two waves of the sea.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;\">\u2014T.S.
