We awaken in Christ’s body<\/span>
\nas Christ awakens our bodies,<\/span>
\nand my poor hand is Christ, He enters<\/span>
\nmy foot, and is infinitely me.<\/span>
\nI move my hand, and wonderfully<\/span>
\nmy hand becomes Christ, becomes all of Him<\/span>
\n(for God is indivisibly<\/span>
\nwhole, seamless in His Godhood).<\/span><\/p>\n

I move my foot, and at once<\/span>
\nHe appears like a flash of lightning.<\/span>
\nDo my words seem blasphemous? — Then<\/span>
\nopen your heart to Him<\/span><\/p>\n

and let yourself receive the one<\/span>
\nwho is opening to you so <\/span>deeply.
\nFor if we genuinely love Him,<\/span>
\nwe wake up inside Christ’s body<\/span><\/p>\n

where all our body, all over,<\/span>
\nevery most hidden part of it,<\/span>
\nis realized in joy as Him,<\/span>
\nand He makes us, utterly, real,<\/span><\/p>\n

and everything that is hurt, everything<\/span>
\nthat seemed to us dark, harsh, shameful,<\/span>
\nmaimed, ugly, irreparably<\/span>
\ndamaged, is in Him transformed<\/span><\/p>\n

and recognized as <\/span>whole, as lovely,<\/span>
\nand radiant in His light<\/span>
\nhe awakens as the Beloved<\/span>
\nin every last part of our body.<\/span><\/p>\n
