The disciples shooed them off. But Jesus intervened: \u201cLet the children alone, don\u2019t prevent them from coming to me. God\u2019s kingdom is made up of people like these.\u201d After laying hands on them, he left. \u00a0(The Message)<\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;\">Consider Jesus&#8217; words in Matthew 18: 1-5:<\/span><\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p class=\"first-line-none chapter-2\" style=\"color: #000000; font-family: Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 16px; line-height: normal;\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;\"><span class=\"text Matt-18-1\">Who gets the highest rank in God\u2019s kingdom?\u201d<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"color: #000000; font-family: Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 16px; line-height: normal;\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;\"><span id=\"en-MSG-10144\" class=\"text Matt-18-2-Matt-18-5\">For an answer Jesus called over a child, whom he stood in the middle of the room, and said, \u201cI\u2019m telling you, once and for all, that unless you return to square one and start over like children, you\u2019re not even going to get a look at the kingdom, let alone get in. Whoever becomes simple and elemental again, like this child, will rank high in God\u2019s kingdom.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;\">What exactly is it about children, childlike faith that the Kingdom of God belongs to such?
